TibaSalama transforms healthcare through digital innovation and community engagement, addressing the 3 Delays Model to save lives in rural Tanzania.
TibaSalama Digital Health Foundation is a non-governmental organization based in Tanzania, dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery through digital innovation and community engagement. We focus on improving maternal, child, and adolescent health outcomes, particularly in underserved and rural communities.
Our work is grounded in strengthening primary health care systems through close collaboration with Community Health Workers (CHWs), local government authorities, and health facilities-especially Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) departments. Through our digital health platform, we enable real-time data collection, community-based screening, referral tracking, and health education, thereby bridging the gap between communities and formal health systems.
TibaSalama addresses the "Three Delays Model (3D)"-delays in seeking care, reaching care, and receiving adequate care-through early detection, timely referrals, and improved access to essential health services. This approach helps save lives and improve health outcomes in rural Tanzania.
We are committed to building a responsive, data-driven, and community-centered health system that ensures no one is left behind.
